Welcome to the free online fiction landing page!
I write a lot of things that don't necessarily fit into my books, either for reasons of length or because they're side stories, happening from an alternative perspective. I also have a series of stories written specifically for "goody bag" posting—the "Velveteen vs." stories, which give me a good excuse to play around with superheroes as much as I want.
All stories listed here are currently available to read free of charge. Not all of them are hosted on my site; Sparrow Hill Road is available only through The Edge of Propinquity, although you can visit the series page for more details. I'm working on getting download versions of the locally hosted stories (probably .pdf), but for right now, you can view the fiction by clicking the titles. If you'd like more information on a specific setting, you can get it by visiting the series landing page. Enjoy!
VELVETEEN VS.
The Velveteen stories are linked in chronological order, barring flashbacks, which will happen whenever they damn well feel like it. For more information on Velma Martinez, aka "Velveteen," I recommend checking the series landing page.

SPARROW HILL ROAD
Sparrow Hill Road chronicles the story of Rose Marshall, a hitchhiking ghost trying to avenge her own death and maybe get herself a cheeseburger or two in the process. The Sparrow Hill Road stories are available exclusively through The Edge of Propinquity, a free online magazine published on the fifteenth of every month.
For more information, please see the Sparrow Hill Road series landing page.
